2011 Thursday Night Thunder |
The first of the Thursday weekly NWAAS racing shows was held
on May 12th. William scored a 9th place out of 26 cars in the feature.
The May 19th show was rained out.
On May 26, William
posted a 2nd place feature finish out of 27 cars. |

Boston Louie Memorial - August 28th |
 |
|
3rd fastest in time trials with an 11.271 meant a start a
long way back in 13th with the 15 place invert. Aaron raced through the
pack for a 5th. |

William had a ride in the Bobby Seymour #23
NEMA Lite
with a Ford Focus motor. A good run to second in the heat was followed
by an early out in the 29 lap feature as many incidents marked the
beginning of the Lites race. For the first time the Lites formed a four
wide parade lap for the fans. |

Raindate - Saturday, July 31st |

6th place in the 30 lap special that was the
no
heat/feature only continuation of the Monadock rainout on May 29th. |

Raindate - Open Wheel Wednesday, 7/28 |
The return to Seekonk for another try at
Open Wheel
Wednesday went well in the
practice sessions, but in the Heat Aaron
had to shut down and coast into the infield when a valve train
problem cropped up. The #55 needed repair and was a DNS for the feature. |

Thursday, July 22nd |
The 7/22 feature saw the #21 tag the wall in turn 2 and head
for the pits. A finish of 19th was added to a 12th on 7/15 and a 6th
on 7/8. |

Open Wheel Wednesday, July 21st |
The first attempt at Open Wheel Wednesday was scrubbed when
rain came just before the start of the heats. Aaron ran practice and
had posted a solid time, but the weather moved the event to 7/28. |

Rain Steals the Feature at the 1st
Wall Motorsports Event
for 2010 |
With rain on radar and clouds all around, NEMA managed to run
the practice sessions and get in the heats for both the NEMA Midgets and
Lites. The Lites also put on a 20 lap feature, but halfway though the
Oullaw Pro Stock feature proceeding the Midgets the rain started.
Monadnock now plans to run twin 25 lap features for the Midgets when
NEMA returns on July 31st.
Aaron in the #55 had a solid run in
Heat #1 and Will took the #5 to the win in Heat #2. |
